I remember reading the story of a woman who had to raise her two sons on her own with nothing much of an income. With prayers and wisdom, two jobs and a little support from the government,she was able to send her boys to school. When she learnt that the younger of her two boys wasn't doing well at school, she ensured her boys spent less time on other unnecessary activities and more time reading and studying.
She didn't want them to end up on the last rung of the social ladder. There was a significant improvement in their studies and they later became geniuses in their own fields. The older son is now an aeronautics engineer while the younger, a world renowned neurosurgeon. Am sure I can hear someone saying "oh that should be Ben Carson of course". Yes, you sure are right. And the woman that encouraged them to be the best is their mother Sonya Carson.
The above story makes me wonder how a woman with a very little education herself could have done that on her own. Then I came to realize and also understand that,God,having created the woman from the man, didn't make her less strong than him. He only added some attributes that would enable her be a proper help meet for him. This makes me remember the saying that what a man can do, a woman can do even better.
A woman is the spark that lights up a man's vision. Whatever is given to her to care for turns out to be a lot better than it was before or better still creates something new from it. Give her an old bucket, it becomes a lovely flower pot in her hands(typical of my mother). Give her some flowers then she creates a garden. Give her a house, she turns it into a home.
